Safety & Moderation

Safety & Moderation

Plantasia Space provides a few distinct tools for managing your experience and keeping the community safe. They work differently, and it helps to know what each one does.

Blocking

What blocking does

Blocking is a private action you take to protect your own experience on the platform.

When you block another xPlorer:

  • They can no longer view your profile or public content
  • They can no longer follow you or comment on your content
  • You no longer see their comments
  • Any follow connection between both accounts is removed
  • They are not told that you blocked them

Blocking mainly protects your own profile, content, and interactions — it does not restrict what the blocked xPlorer can do elsewhere on the platform.

After unblocking

When you unblock someone:

  • Their access to your profile and content is restored under normal platform rules
  • They can follow you and comment again
  • Previous follows are not automatically restored — both accounts start fresh

Reporting

What reporting does

Reporting sends a concern to the Plantasia Space moderation team for review.

You can report:

  • Another xPlorer — if you believe their account or behavior violates platform rules or community standards
  • Content — an audio, world, orbiter, or collection you believe should be reviewed
  • A comment — if a comment is harmful, abusive, or otherwise violates community expectations

Submitting a report:

  • Sends the case to the moderation team for review
  • Hides the reported content from your view immediately — you will not see it again while moderation is pending
  • Does not notify the reported xPlorer about who submitted the report
  • Does not automatically remove the content for other xPlorers — that decision is made by the moderation team

Reporting content or a comment removes it from your experience right away. Reporting an account sends it for review without immediately changing what others see.

Block vs. Report

If both options are available, here is the difference:

What it does
BlockChanges your own experience immediately
ReportAsks the moderation team to review and decide

Use Block when you want to stop someone from interacting with your content right now. Use Report when you believe there is a platform safety or community issue that the moderation team should review.

Suspended accounts

Suspension is a platform-level action taken by the moderation team. It is not personal and does not depend on any relationship between two xPlorers.

When an account is suspended, its presence is restricted across the platform for everyone — including their profile, content, comments, and any other surfaces where they would normally appear.

Suspended profiles and content will generally resolve to an unavailable state. The platform does not expose the details of moderation actions in public-facing surfaces.

Frequently asked questions

If I block someone, will they know?
No. The platform does not notify a blocked xPlorer that they were blocked.
If I unblock someone, will we follow each other again?
No. Unblocking restores normal access, but previous follow connections are not restored automatically.
Does reporting something remove it immediately?
Reported content and comments are hidden from your view right away. Reporting an account sends it for moderation review without immediately changing what others see.
Is suspension the same as being blocked?
No. Block is a personal safety tool that you control. Suspension is a platform enforcement action taken by the moderation team, and it affects how that account appears to everyone on the platform.
Can a suspended account affect content I released with them?
Yes. If a suspended xPlorer is a visible contributor on a release — for example, listed as an artist — their presence can affect how that content appears while the suspension is in effect.

Blocking someone

Blocking someone prevents them from viewing your profile and content, following you, or commenting on your posts. Any follow connection between both accounts is removed. They are not notified that you blocked them.

Reporting someone or something

You can report an xPlorer, content, or a comment. Reported content and comments are hidden from your view immediately while our moderation team reviews the case. Reporting an account sends it for review without immediately changing what others see.

Suspended accounts

Suspended accounts may be hidden from public areas of the platform while a moderation action is in effect. This can include their profile, comments, and content connected to their account.
