Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is Plantasia Space?
A world-building project and regenerative music platform where you can listen to, reshape, and remix releases in real time.
What makes the music “regenerative”?
Sonic releases are designed to transform through listener interaction—each play can be different.
Who are xPlorers?
Members who join the community to listen, publish, and create; they get access to different toolsets depending on membership level.
What can I do as a guest?
Browse featured audios, orbiters, and worlds for a limited time; you’ll need at least a free account to interact with or publish audios.
How do I become a member?
Create a free account and choose a plan in the pricing section when you’re ready to upgrade.
What can I publish?
Audios (tracks), Entangled Worlds, Orbiters, and curated Collections.
What is an Entangled World?
A mix of story, visuals, and science facts that can be entangled with music releases; music lives inside these worlds and can be visited with orbiters.
What is an Orbiter?
A spaceship that acts as a musical meta-instrument (sampler with effects/processing chain) you design and share to shape playback.
How can listeners interact with a release?
Inside orbiters through motion sensors, MIDI controllers, on-screen controls, and even exoplanet data in the cosmic LFOs.
Can I keep work private?
Yes—set items to private, shared, or public, and assign roles like viewer, publisher, or editor.
Do you support collaboration?
You can invite collaborators with specific roles on releases, worlds, orbiters and collections.
What licenses are used?
We currently use Creative Commons licenses. Publishing under Creative Commons does not mean giving up your copyright: you remain the rights holder. By publishing, you grant Plantasia Space a limited license to host and display your content, and you grant the public the permissions defined by the selected Creative Commons license (for example, remixing under its terms).
How does AI fit in?
Story and Texture assistants help build worlds (narratives and visuals) while you stay in control.
What are AI Texture/Text credits?
Usage credits for generating visuals and text; base credits refresh each cycle, and extra credits roll over until used.
Are my audios used to train AI models?
No. Audios published on Plantasia Space are not used for AI training, machine learning, or model development. The platform does not currently request or collect consent for AI training because no models are being trained. If this were to change in the future, you would be clearly informed and asked for explicit consent before any such use.
