Edit

Editing an Audio allows you to refine its presentation and context.

What you can edit​

You can update:

  • Title and artist information
  • Cover image
  • Assigned Entangled World (for preview and context)
  • Assigned Orbiter (for preview)
  • Metadata, description, story, and credits
  • Privacy, distribution, and licensing settings

Iteration mindset​

Audios are meant to evolve.

You can revisit an Audio to improve its description, adjust visuals, or refine how it is presented to other xPlorers, release new audio versions.

Saving and publishing changes​

Your edits save themselves. A couple of seconds after you stop typing, the Audio's draft is saved for you — there is no save button to remember.

The small disk icon at the top of the page shows where that has got to, and its dot changes colour as it goes: unsaved changes, saving, saved, or couldn't save. Hover it to read the current state. You can also click it to save straight away instead of waiting.

Saving only ever updates your draft. Nothing reaches other xPlorers until you press release — listeners keep hearing the version you last published while you work.

Audio files and cover images are the exception: those are applied when you upload them, not by autosave.
